Don't Just Take Our Word For It...

Back in 2010, Donna and I were $242,000 in total consumer debt and we had a goal to eliminate all of that debt by Dec 31st, 2016. However, we missed our goal. BUT, thanks to the principles we have learned in the Financial Fitness Program, as of Friday, April 7th, 2017, we are 100% debt free! What an awesome feeling!

We love Financial Fitness! We came up with a mortgage pay-off challenge by coming up with a few steps. 1) The burning desire to become debt-free. We were sitting at $110K of debt (we’ve been able to cut that down to less than half now) and we are now within 12 months of being debt free! 2) Communication with your spouse. 3) Developing a budget and following the budget 4) We use a cash envelop system that helps us stick to our budget. 5) Patience. By following these steps we’ve been able to make a significant difference in both our relationship and our debt reduction.
